Checked 2026-09-20

Start with the tire

What do you need?

How many tires?

No account needed.

Put in the address and the vehicle and the booking flow shows the next available window and the price together, in a couple of minutes. No callback, no estimate visit, no number held back until somebody has your phone. If nothing is open today, you see that too, instead of being told someone will be in touch.

One thing this is not: emergency roadside. We come to a fixed address where the car is parked, at home or at work. A car stopped in a live lane needs a tow first.

What "open now" actually means in this market

In most cities, the useful version of this page is a table of competitors' published hours. In Chattanooga it cannot be, because almost nothing is published. So here is exactly what we checked on 2026-09-20 and exactly what each check returned.

The one business we found that plainly does mobile passenger-car tire work in Chattanooga publishes hours and nothing else. Chattanooga Premier Mobile Tire Store's listing gives 10am to 7pm Monday and Tuesday, 8am to 5pm Wednesday to Friday, and closed Saturday and Sunday. Its listing is unclaimed, carries a 5.0 rating from three reviews, gives no street address at all beyond "Chattanooga, TN 37401", and lists no website, no email and no price. Its own description says it brings "the Tire Store To Your Door. At Work, Home, or on the go".

Weekend closure is the interesting part. The mobile tire category sells itself on convenience, and the single clearest local example of it is a weekday business.

Two mobile operators here are genuinely round-the-clock-ish and genuinely not for your car. Best One Tire - Truck Tire Center of Chattanooga states on its own site: "we specialize in commercial tires and on-site tire service... for your fleet tire service needs", listing Chattanooga, Cleveland and Nashville. Giant Truck Tire Service and Trailer Repair lists its range as "tires for box trucks, semi-trucks, and dump trucks". Both are real mobile capacity. Neither is going to come and fix a car in a driveway.

A mobile brand that does serve Chattanooga does not do tires. Brakes To You lists Chattanooga on its own locations page and states "We Service a 30 Mile Radius Around Major Metros". Its entire published service list is brake pads, rotors, shoes, fluid, master cylinders and calipers.

Several listings answer a phone and publish nothing. Eight of the mobile-sounding listings in our Chattanooga sweeps carry no website at all, and the one domain we could guess for any of them did not resolve on 2026-09-20. One national brand recorded in our database as a Chattanooga entry, Wrench, returned an outdated-browser shell to every fetch and rendered no content, so we could not read its Chattanooga scope or price either.

And the two national van programmes are simply not here. Tire Rack's coverage endpoint returns an empty string for 37402, 37405, 37412, 37421 and Fort Oglethorpe 30742, against "DTMI" for Dallas 75206 and "TRMI" for Atlanta 30306. Discount Tire's published mobile list is 84 stores in eight states with none in Tennessee or Georgia, and it states: "We don't offer mobile tire repair at this time."

How thin is thin

Our 2026-09-20 recheck of map listings returned 9 local results for Chattanooga. The same pass returned 17 for Savannah, 17 for Pittsburgh and 16 for Boise.

Read that as a floor rather than a census. Our earlier automated sweep found only 6, and that collector is recorded as having under-counted because it did not pin the viewport or scroll the results. So we are not going to tell you Chattanooga has nine mobile tire businesses. We are telling you what two passes found, that the second pass found fewer here than in three comparable cities, and that of the ones we could resolve, the list comes out as a brake franchise, a commercial truck-tire dealer, a truck repair shop, a couple of national dispatch brands and one unclaimed local listing with no price.

The twelve shops that are open, and what they are

The other half of "available now" is the fixed-shop half, and that one is well documented. Tire Rack's recommended-installer directory for ZIP 37421 lists twelve installers, prints an itemised rate card for every one, and not one of the twelve is a mobile installer. Its own legend carries a Mobile Installer badge and no Chattanooga listing wears it.

They are real, they are open, and going to one costs you the car for the duration. In a city where 38.1 percent of households have exactly one vehicle and 0.9 percent of commuters use public transport, that is the trade being made. What tire repair costs in Chattanooga lists all twelve with their published four-tire totals and the municipality each one sits in — five of the twelve are outside the City of Chattanooga, and two of those are in Georgia.

What decides whether we can come today

Three things, in this order.

Where the car is. We need level, paved, legal ground with room to work at one corner of the car. Tire Rack publishes the industry version of the same requirement: "a flat, paved surface with 6 feet of clearance around your vehicle... A minimum of 10 feet of vertical clearance is also required." In Hamilton County that is a real question — the city's own published slope inventory puts 122,418 acres at 15 percent grade or steeper, which against the county's 542.164 square miles of land is 35.3 percent of it (DERIVED: 122,418 acres divided by 640, then divided by 542.164). Tell us what the space looks like when you book. If we arrive and it is not workable, the visit is not charged. Steep driveways and tight spaces has the detail.

What is wrong with the tire. A tread puncture no wider than a quarter of an inch is repairable. Sidewall and shoulder damage is not, by anybody. We cannot tell which you have until the tire is off the wheel, and that inspection is the job.

What you need fitted. We supply the tires we fit and we do not mount tires bought elsewhere, so availability of your size in local stock is part of the answer on a same-day replacement. We also do not sell used tires.

Our price: $145 for the first tire

A mobile puncture repair on one tire is $145, and $50 for each additional tire in the same visit. That is the price, not an estimate and not a starting figure. It covers getting to the car, the wheel off, the tire demounted and inspected from the inside, a plug and patch fitted the way the tire industry requires, remounting, rebalancing, a TPMS reset where the vehicle supports it, and the wheel back on. There is no separate call-out fee.

If the tire turns out not to be repairable, the inspection is charged and the repair is not. Where a technician actually attends and inspects the same day, the same-day element of the booking stands; if no same-day visit takes place, it is refunded. If the space is not safe to work in when we arrive, nothing is charged.

Where to go next

Mobile tire repair in Chattanooga covers the visit and the whole local supply picture. Flat tire repair covers the urgent case, a nail in the tire the commonest cause, a slow leak the one with no obvious cause. What it costs has the local rate cards and the Tennessee tax treatment, and Tennessee against Georgia has the two tread rules six miles apart.

Nationally: same-day service, mobile tire repair as a service, how it works, mobile versus a tire shop, a mobile replacement against a roadside spare, a flat at work and a flat in the driveway. Our Chattanooga service area has the coverage, and our pricing has the rest of the numbers.

Questions people ask

  • Is anyone in Chattanooga open right now for a mobile tire repair? We could not build an hours table for this market, because almost nobody publishes one. The clearest local example we found publishes 10am to 7pm Monday and Tuesday, 8am to 5pm Wednesday to Friday, and closed at weekends. Our own next window shows in the booking flow with the price.
  • Are the 24-hour mobile listings real? Some are, and two of the ones we could resolve are commercial truck-tire operations that do not serve passenger cars. Several more have no website at all, so there is nothing to check beyond a phone number.
  • Can the national chains come out same day? Not in this market. Tire Rack's mobile coverage endpoint returned an empty string for four Chattanooga ZIPs and for Fort Oglethorpe on 2026-09-20, and Discount Tire's published mobile list has no store in Tennessee or Georgia.
  • How many mobile tire businesses does Chattanooga have? We will not give you a count. Two passes found six and nine, the lower one is known to have under-collected, and the honest statement is that the second pass found fewer here than in Savannah, Pittsburgh or Boise.
  • Is this emergency roadside? No. We come to a fixed address where the car is parked. A car in a live lane needs a tow.
  • What happens if you can't work where my car is? The visit is not charged. That is why we ask about the space before dispatching anyone.
