How it works

Request, price, confirm, visit. How we arrange your mobile tire service with a local partner and stay your single point of contact.

Checked 2026-09-16

The four steps

  1. Request. You tell us your vehicle, tire size or tire source, and where the vehicle will be.
  2. Price. We confirm an all-in price for that exact scope before you commit to anything.
  3. Confirm. You approve the price and the appointment window.
  4. Pay and visit. Once a provider slot is confirmed you pay, the visit is scheduled, and a technician arrives to do the confirmed scope; any on-site change is agreed with you first.

Who actually does the work

We arrange each job with a local partner and stay your single point of contact from request through completion. If something needs to change mid-job, you hear it from us, not from a provider you have never spoken to before. We are not a phone tree or an automated dispatch script; a person is behind your request.

How we vet who does the work

Before we route a job to a provider, we run three checks. These are steps taken for each job; a provider we have researched has not passed them until they run:

  • Exact-scope fit. The provider must actually perform the specific service you requested: mobile mounting and balancing, or puncture repair after technician inspection, at a customer's location. A fixed shop that only takes drop-offs or a service that only handles roadside flats does not meet that scope.
  • Ownership check. We confirm who is actually behind the business we would be routing your job to, from checkable evidence, not just a listing.
  • Exclusions. Providers whose evidence only shows services we do not offer, such as fleet work, are excluded even if they otherwise look active in your area.

What we do not claim

We do not claim our own employees, our own vans, our own certifications, or an established partner network. We are a new company arranging individual jobs with providers we have researched, not a franchise with a roster of signed partners.

What we cover

Passenger cars, SUVs, light trucks and minivans, with wheels up to 22 inches, one to four tires a visit. We supply the tires and fit them in the same visit. We do not fit tires bought elsewhere, we do not fit used tires, and we do not work on commercial truck tires, RVs, trailers, motorcycles or track tires.

Electric vehicles are fine. EVs are heavier and often need a specific load index, so we match the door placard rather than the old tire if the two disagree. We fit run-flats where the size is available locally, and we will not swap run-flats for standard tires unless you confirm you understand the car may have no spare.

TPMS reset or relearn is included where the vehicle supports it at the roadside. We replace a sensor where the part is in local stock, and if a sensor fails during fitting we tell you before anything is charged. We do not align, balance on its own, rotate on its own, or touch brakes.

We accept mobile puncture repair requests. A technician must inspect the tire. Not all damage is repairable. We confirm local availability and the price before you approve the work. This is not emergency roadside service.

Warranty and aftercare

  • Workmanship, meaning mounting, balancing and torque, is ours for 90 days.
  • Vibration caused by balance is ours for 30 days, with a free rebalance.
  • A TPMS sensor damaged during fitting is ours, replaced free.
  • A tire manufacturing defect is covered by the tire maker's warranty, and we help you file it.
  • Road hazard such as a puncture, impact or kerb damage is not covered unless the tire brand includes it. We tell you before you buy whether yours does.

To claim, email support@hoptire.com with the job date and what happened. We arrange the return visit and deal with the local partner ourselves.

What we do not do

We do not use automated phone calls to negotiate with providers on your behalf, and we do not promise an arrival time we have not confirmed with the provider first.

Questions people ask

  • Will I know who is coming before they arrive? You will know the appointment window and get technician contact details as the visit approaches; we do not publish provider identities on this site.
  • What if the provider cannot make the appointment? We tell you and work out a new time or a different provider; you are not left guessing.
  • Do you charge more because you are arranging the job? Our margin is inside the one price; there is no separate arranging fee, and the price is confirmed before you pay.

Why book this way

  • Your price online in minutes. No callback, no estimate visit, no waiting for someone to get back to you. Typically the quickest way to book this service.
  • One all-in price before payment, with no hidden fees. Tires, fitting, the call-out, valve stems, TPMS reset and disposal are included in the total you review before payment. Of the national mobile tire services we read, only Tire Rack shows an installation figure up front, and its own cart says "Installation cost is not included in order total" (read 2026-09-20); the others quote after you contact them or reach checkout (read 2026-09-16 and 2026-09-17).
  • One point of contact from your request to the finished job. We work with a local partner and answer for the result.
  • Review your total before payment. We confirm your visit time separately.
