Central Park is new, and the streets show it. Its 1,265 scored street segments average 81.4 on Denver DOTI's pavement condition index, and it holds the only segment scoring a perfect 100 among the eighteen Denver neighbourhoods we profiled. Among all 78 with more than 100 scored segments, that average is the second highest in the city.

It is also a big, low density, two car place. 31,596 residents in 11,732 occupied units at 3,517 people per square mile, the lowest density of the eighteen. 70.5% owner occupied. 47.2% of households keep exactly two vehicles, the highest two car share of the eighteen, with 33.0% on one and 15.5% on three or more.

We supply the tires and fit them where the car is parked, here and across Denver. Price on screen, visit included, no estimate call first.

The masterplan works in our favour

47.2% of units are single family detached and 24.1% single family attached, with alley loaded garages behind almost all of it. No permit area covers Central Park, so the kerb is unrestricted too.

That makes this a straightforward part of Denver to work in. The garage apron off the alley is usually flat, paved and wide enough, which is what we need: level ground, a legally parked car, clear room at one corner. The awkward addresses are the apartment blocks at 15.4% of the stock, where parking is structured. If your bay is stacked, tandem or under a low deck, say so at booking.

Two cars, one household, one calendar

Two cars is two sets of tires wearing at different rates, and nobody tracks the second one. Both go through the same Denver winter.

Booking both in one visit is the cheap version of that: one slot, one address, both sets on the van. Better done in autumn, when you pick the date, than in the week something goes flat.

Snow, and why March is the month

NOAA's 1991 to 2020 normals at Denver Central Park, the station standing on this neighbourhood's own ground, give 53.8 inches of snow a year over 33.3 days with a tenth of an inch or more. March is the snowiest month at 10.7 inches, ahead of November at 8.7 and December at 8.5. December to February carries only 39.4% of the annual total.

What happens afterwards is policy, not accident. Denver's residential snow programme covers about 1,260 centre lane miles with 4x4 pickups that take one pass down the centre of each side street. The city states plainly that they shave off the top few inches of pack, will not expose bare pavement, and that residential streets get no de-icing material.

So the good pavement under your street spends December to March under packed snow. We work on the apron by preference then, and if the only spot is snow covered we would rather rebook than jack a car on ice.

The mountain rule, before you head west

Colorado's Traction Law applies on I-70 between milepost 133 at Dotsero and milepost 259 at Morrison from 1 September to 31 May each year under C.R.S. 42-4-106, whatever the weather is doing in Denver. Senate Bill 25-069, signed in 2025, rewrote the four wheel drive clause: tread depth alone is no longer enough, and the tire must also carry a mountain snowflake, M+S or M/S marking or be manufacturer rated all-weather. CDOT's guidance applies that to all 4WD and AWD vehicles, at 3/16 of an inch of tread or more.

If your family car is an all wheel drive crossover on worn all-seasons, reread that. All-season, all-weather and winter tires explains the markings, and the seasonal swap covers where the other set lives.

What we do not do

We fit the tires we supply, so a set bought elsewhere is out. No alignment, no rotation alone, no balancing alone, no brakes, no emergency roadside. Structured garage bays with no clear space beside the car are the addresses here we cannot work in.

What a repair costs

A mobile puncture repair on the first tire is $145, and the visit is part of it. Wheel off, tire demounted and inspected from the inside, plug and patch fitted the way the tire industry sets out, remount, rebalance, TPMS reset where the car supports it, refit. If it is beyond a safe repair we show you and charge nothing.

Questions people ask

  • Can you work on the alley apron? Yes. Flat, paved and wide is exactly what we want.
  • Both cars at once? Yes, booked as two cars at one address.
  • When should I put winter tires on? Before the traction season bites rather than after the first storm, and do not take them off in February when March is the snowiest month.
  • Snow is packed solid on my street. Normal here by design. We use the driveway or rebook.
  • What size do I need? Sidewall or door placard: find your tire size.
  • Do you charge for coming out? No: mobile tire replacement cost.
