Start with the tire
No account needed.
Do not drive it anywhere. A tire run flat is destroyed by the drive, not by the puncture: the sidewall folds under the rim and grinds itself apart in a few hundred yards. A tire that was a $145 repair when you found it can be a replacement by the time you reach a shop.
Leave the car where it is. We come to it.
Denver is built for this
Most of this city has somewhere to work on a car.
Citywide, 40.5% of Denver housing units are single family detached and another 8.8% are single family attached, from the 2020-2024 American Community Survey five-year estimates summed across all 178 Denver County tracts. Much of that stock sits on an alley grid with a garage or a pad behind it.
The kerb is easy here too. Counted from the city's own parking GIS layer on 2026-09-20, Denver designates 22 named residential permit areas across 971 street segments. The largest is the Stadium Area at 236 segments, then Cherry Creek at 82 and Ball Park at 79. Those areas cluster around the stadium, the hospitals, the universities and a few inner neighbourhoods. Almost every other residential street in Denver is free and unrestricted.
The spread inside the city is wide, though. In Denver's own neighbourhood data, North Park Hill is 93.6% single family detached, the second highest detached share of Denver's 78 statistical neighbourhoods behind Cory-Merrill at 98.6%. Capitol Hill, the densest of the 78, is 3.5% detached with 62.3% of its units in buildings of twenty or more. A driveway job in Park Hill and a kerb job in Capitol Hill are different visits, and it helps to tell us which one you have.
What we need from the space
Legal, level, paved ground. A driveway, a garage pad, an alley apron or an unrestricted kerb space. A jack needs a firm, flat footing.
Room at one corner. Enough clear space to jack the car, swing a wheel off and work beside it without standing in traffic. The figure the trade tends to ask for is about five feet clear on all sides of the vehicle, which is what one Denver mobile fitter publishes in its own appointment instructions.
Overhead clearance and access. A low parking structure or a below-grade garage downtown is the hard case. Tell us in advance rather than at the door.
The wheel lock key in the car. If the car has locking nuts and the key is in a kitchen drawer in another state, nothing happens. The same Denver operator asks its customers for the key up front, for the same reason.
Cleared ground in winter. Denver's published snow policy leaves residential streets with one centre pass and no de-icing material, and says the residential plows "shave off the top few inches of snow pack and will not expose bare pavement". That is quoted from an archived capture of the city's page dated 9 January 2023. A shovelled driveway beats a snow-packed side street.
Flat tire in the driveway covers the general case, and our Denver service area covers where we come.
What happens at the car
The wheel comes off. The tire comes off the rim, because the inner liner is where the real damage shows and no honest answer is possible with the tire mounted. Then one of three things.
A repairable puncture. Tread area only, no wider than a quarter of an inch, repaired with a plug and a patch together, to the US Tire Manufacturers Association standard. Then remounted, rebalanced, TPMS reset where the vehicle supports it, and set to the door placard pressure.
An unrepairable tire. A sidewall cut, a bulge, a liner destroyed by being driven on. You pay for the inspection and not for a repair that did not happen, and you decide about a replacement with the reason in front of you. Repair or replace a tire covers the call and what mobile tire replacement costs covers the number.
Something that is not the tire. A valve stem, a leaking bead, a cracked alloy. We name it rather than inventing work.
We also measure the tread, because C.R.S. 42-4-228(5)(c)(III) deems a tire unsafe below two thirty-seconds of an inch. Nobody in Colorado measures it for you on a schedule, so somebody should.
We supply the tires we fit and do not mount tires bought elsewhere. We do not do alignment, rotation on its own, balancing on its own or brakes, and this is a booked visit rather than roadside rescue.
Our price: $145
A mobile puncture repair on one tire is $145. That is a price, not a range and not a starting point. It buys the trip out, the wheel off, the tire off the rim, an inspection of the inner liner, a plug and patch fitted to the tire industry standard, remounting, rebalancing, a TPMS reset where supported, and the pressure set to the placard. Nothing is added afterwards for the call-out.
If we arrive and the space is not safe to work in, that visit is not charged.
Questions people ask
- Can I move the car a few feet first? A few feet at walking pace on a flat tire is survivable. A drive to a shop is not, and it usually turns a repair into a replacement.
- Do you need a garage? No. A driveway, an alley apron or an unrestricted kerb space works. What matters is firm, level, paved ground with room to work at one corner.
- Will you need a permit for my street? Almost certainly not. Denver has 22 residential permit areas covering 971 street segments in total, and most residential kerb space in the city carries no restriction at all.
- My building has an underground garage. Can you come? Tell us the clearance and the access when you book. Structured parking is the one Denver setting that can stop a visit, and it is much better to know beforehand.
- What if it turns out to be the wheel and not the tire? We will tell you. A cracked or corroded alloy leaks with nothing showing on the tread, and a wheel repair is not something we do at the kerb.
