Start with the tire
No account needed.
We come to the address you give us in Dallas, take the wheel off, inspect the tire from the inside, and repair it if the damage is repairable. The price is on screen in minutes before anyone is dispatched. No callback, no estimate visit, and no separate call-out charge added to the number you saw.
Two limits up front. We supply the tires we fit, so we do not mount tires bought elsewhere. And this is a booked visit to a parked car, not roadside rescue: a car stopped in a live lane on LBJ needs a tow first.
What counts as a repairable tire
The rules are not ours. They come from the US Tire Manufacturers Association, and any shop worth using follows them.
- The damage has to be in the tread area, the part that touches the road. Nothing in the shoulder or the sidewall is repairable, by us or by anyone.
- The hole has to be no larger than a quarter of an inch.
- The tire has to come off the wheel, so the inner liner can be inspected. A tire can look untouched from outside and be chewed up inside.
- The repair is a plug and a patch together. A plug pushed in from outside without removing the tire is not a repair. It is a way of selling you the same tire twice.
That last point matters more in a state that stopped inspecting cars. Nobody in Texas is going to see the outside plug later and tell you it was never a repair. Can a nail in the tire be repaired works through the borderline cases.
Who actually comes out in Dallas, and what they charge to arrive
Dallas is unusual among the metros we work in: the prices here are public. The Tire Rack recommended-installer directory for ZIP 75206 lists twenty installers with an itemised rate card for each, and exactly three of the twenty are mobile.
All three charge a fee simply for arriving, and they publish it:
| Mobile installer | Published fee to come out | Where it is based |
|---|---|---|
| Via Mobile Tire | $50.00 per visit | Lewisville, Denton County, about 25 miles north of downtown |
| Zohr Mobile Tire Shop | $69.00 per visit | Dallas-Fort Worth, one of its four metros |
| Supreme Mobile Tire | $75.00 per visit | "Dallas, TX 75223 Service Area Business" |
All three read from the Tire Rack directory on 2026-09-20. Supreme's $75 is the highest per-visit fee of the three mobile installers listed for Dallas. Tire Rack also prints two of Supreme's own warnings verbatim: "Tire Rack quotes do not include TPMS relearn fees which vary by vehicle" and "Additional charges may apply for installs outside a 20 mile service radius from our base."
One fair qualification on Zohr, because its own published material says two things. Alongside the $69 fee, Zohr's Dallas pages carry the line "No trip charge on 2 or more tires". Its itemised cart for four tires, read for ZIP 75206 on 2026-09-20, still listed "Mobile Service Fee ... $69.00". We are quoting both and not guessing which one applies to your booking; ask them.
We do not have a line like that. There is no separate call-out fee with us, and if we arrive and the space is not safe to work in, that visit is not charged at all.
The national name that does not reach the city
Discount Tire publishes the full list of stores taking part in its mobile installation, state by state. Texas has 39 participating stores and not one of them is in Dallas. The eleven in the DFW area are all suburban: Little Elm, Prosper, Plano, Sachse, Wylie, McKinney, Arlington twice, Crossroads, Grand Prairie and Mansfield. The other 28 are all Greater Houston.
Its published price is "AS LOW AS $50 Extra", and the page is explicit that this stacks on top of the regular fee in the cart rather than replacing it. On repair specifically it says so itself: "We don't offer mobile tire repair at this time."
Whether a store in Plano or Grand Prairie will cross the city line is not something the page answers, because it lists participating stores rather than service radii. What is checkable is that no store inside Dallas takes part. How we compare with Discount Tire's mobile installation has the rest.
Why a repair price is so hard to find here
Of the Dallas mobile providers whose prices could be read on 2026-09-20, none publishes a puncture repair price.
Zohr publishes a full Dallas service menu, and it carries a "Flat Tire Diagnosis" at $0.00 and a "TPMS Light Diagnosis" at $0.00. Those are diagnosis lines, not repair prices: they tell you what it costs to be told what is wrong, not what it costs to fix it. Via Mobile Tire and Supreme Mobile Tire publish no prices on their own websites at all; a full text scrape of Supreme's site on 2026-09-20 returned zero dollar amounts, and the only place either firm's rates appear is the Tire Rack directory.
Four more Dallas-area mobile listings could not be priced at all. Bleck Tires and Tire On Time both sit behind Cloudflare verification pages that never resolved for a browser or for a fetch on 2026-09-20. Oscar's 24 Hrs Mobile Tire Repair and Best Tire Mobile Service have no website at all in our sweep. Two of those four are not in the city either: Tire On Time's address is on Freeport Parkway in Coppell, and Oscar's is in Grand Prairie, about 15 miles west of downtown.
That is why this site puts a number on screen first. What tire repair costs in Dallas shows how ours is built and what the published local alternatives come to.
What happens at the visit
- Pressures checked on all four against the door placard, not the number moulded into the sidewall. What the tire pressure placard means explains why those are different figures.
- The affected wheel comes off the car.
- The tire comes off the rim and the inner liner is inspected. This is the step that tells the truth.
- We repair it, or tell you it cannot be repaired.
- Remount, rebalance that wheel, reset the TPMS where the vehicle supports it at the roadside, set the pressure to the placard.
- We read the tread depth and the DOT date code on all four and give you both numbers, because in Texas nobody else will.
We need legal, level, paved ground with room to work around one corner of the car: a driveway, a workplace lot, an apartment space. Tell us which when you book. How to prepare for a mobile tire visit covers the rest.
What we do not do
No alignment, no rotation alone, no balancing alone, no brakes, no emergency roadside call-out. If the answer is a new tire rather than a repair, we supply and fit it on the same visit, and we do not sell used tires. See repair or replace a tire, what mobile tire replacement costs and our Dallas service area.
For the specific cases: a nail in the tread, a tire that is always low, a flat now, a run-flat, what it costs and who is open today.
Our price: $145
A mobile puncture repair on one tire is $145. That is the price, not an estimate and not a starting figure. It covers getting to you, the wheel off, the tire demounted and inspected from the inside, a plug and patch fitted the way the tire industry requires, remounting, rebalancing, a TPMS reset where the vehicle supports it, and the wheel back on. If the damage turns out not to be repairable, we tell you on the spot and you are not charged for the repair.
Questions people ask
- Is there a call-out fee on top? Not with us. All three mobile installers in the Tire Rack Dallas directory publish one: $50 a visit for Via Mobile Tire, $69 for Zohr, $75 for Supreme Mobile Tire, read 2026-09-20.
- Can Discount Tire come to me in Dallas? Not for a repair, by its own statement: "We don't offer mobile tire repair at this time." And no store inside the City of Dallas appears on its published list of stores offering mobile installation at all.
- Is a plug on its own a real repair? No. The US Tire Manufacturers Association standard requires the tire off the wheel, an inner liner inspection, and a plug and patch together. Anyone doing it from the outside in five minutes is not repairing your tire.
- Do I pay if the tire cannot be repaired? You pay for the inspection, because establishing it means travelling to the car, taking the wheel off and taking the tire off the rim. You do not pay for a repair that was not done.
- Will you fit tires I bought online? No. We supply the tires we fit, so one business answers for both the tire and the work.
- Is this roadside assistance? No. We book a visit to a car parked at a fixed address, at home or at work. A car stopped in a live traffic lane needs a tow first.
