Put in the address and the vehicle and the booking flow shows you the next available window and the price together, in a couple of minutes. No callback, no estimate visit, no number withheld until someone has your phone number. If nothing is open today, you see that too rather than being told someone will be in touch.

One thing this is not: emergency roadside. We come to a fixed address where the car is parked, at home or at work. A car stopped in a live lane on the Parkway West needs a tow.

What "open now" really means in this city

Most of what turns up when you search for a mobile tire service in Pittsburgh at 8 p.m. is not what it looks like. A manual pass over Google Maps listings on 2026-09-20 found 17 local businesses in this category. The majority were truck and trailer roadside outfits or general mobile mechanics rather than consumer tire fitters, and most published no hours at all.

• One well-reviewed mobile operator, We Come To You Tire Service out of Monroeville, publishes hours that are evenings and weekend mornings only: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., Wednesday 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., closed Friday and Saturday. Useful if you need someone after work. No good at 10 a.m. on a Friday.
• RoadsideJB advertises a 30 minute average response but publishes no hours and no prices at all.
• GoMobile Tires' Pittsburgh branch is at 1010 Clearsprings Drive in Cranberry Township, Butler County, roughly 20 miles north of downtown. That is a real drive to Carrick or Mount Washington, and it is worth asking about before you assume same-day.
• If you would rather drive to a shop, Pittsburgh Tire Shop LLC lists 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days at 400 Railroad Street and says most repairs take 30 to 45 minutes. That is a fixed location on the Penn Hills side, not a mobile service.

Same day is a scheduling question, not a slogan

Two Pittsburgh facts change what a technician can promise on any given day.

The Squirrel Hill Tunnel carries about 106,000 vehicles a day on I-376, and the highway narrows from four lanes to two to get through it, which is the documented reason queues back up past the preceding exits. A job in Squirrel Hill South at 4 p.m. and a job in Robinson at 5 p.m. are not both possible for the same van, and you deserve to be told that rather than sold it.

Game days on the North Shore close things outright. When the Steelers and the Pirates both play, ramps and inbound traffic patterns around both stadiums close until 6 p.m., and several lots, including Lot 4, Lot 5, Lot 6, the Blue 10 Garage and the West General Robinson Red 5 Garage, are unreachable until 6 p.m. even with a pre-sold pass. If your car is parked there, book around the schedule.

What we can do today, and what we cannot

We can inspect and repair a puncture at your address, and if the inspection says the tire is finished we can supply and fit a replacement on the same visit. We cannot repair a tire we have not taken off the wheel, because the US Tire Manufacturers Association standard requires the inner liner to be inspected, and we will not fit tires you bought elsewhere.

Before you book, check three things

1. Where the car will actually be during the window. Home driveway, workplace lot, a permit space on the street. Tell us which.
2. Whether the space is legal, level, paved, and has room to work around one corner of the car.

A mobile puncture repair on one tire is $145 with us. That is the price, not an estimate and not a starting figure. It covers the call-out, taking the wheel off, demounting and inspecting the tire from the inside, a plug and patch fitted the way the tire industry requires, remounting, rebalancing, a TPMS reset where the vehicle supports it, and refitting. If the damage turns out not to be repairable, we tell you on the spot and you are not charged for the repair.

• Can someone come out today? Sometimes. The booking flow shows the real next window for your address before you pay, rather than promising same-day and calling you back to renegotiate.
• Is this a 24 hour emergency service? No. We book visits to a fixed address where the car is parked. If the car is stranded in traffic or on a bridge, call a tow first and book us for wherever it lands.
• What is actually open late in Pittsburgh for tires? As observed on 2026-09-20, one local mobile operator published evening hours running to 11 p.m. on most weeknights, and one fixed shop published 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days.
