Tire repair available now in Chicago

Put in the address and the vehicle, and the booking flow shows the next available window and the price together, in a couple of minutes. No callback, no estimate visit, no number held back until someone has your phone number. If nothing is open today you see that too, rather than being told someone will be in touch.

One thing this is not: emergency roadside. We come to a fixed address where the car is parked, at home or at work. A car stopped in a live lane needs a tow first.

The hours a Chicago van genuinely cannot work

Chicago has a parking ban with a calendar, and it is the biggest constraint on when and where a mobile tire visit can happen here.

The Department of Streets and Sanitation enforces the winter overnight parking ban on 107 miles of arterial streets from 3 a.m. to 7 a.m., from 1 December through 1 April, and it says plainly that this runs regardless of snow. Signage is permanently posted. The department's own figures for what happens if you are parked there: a minimum $150 towing fee, a $60 ticket, and storage at $25 a day, with vehicles taken to the pound at 10301 S. Doty Ave. or the one at 701 N. Sacramento.

A separate ban covers another 500 miles of main streets and can be activated once there are at least two inches of snow on the street, at any hour and on any date.

Two things follow for you. Between 3 and 7 a.m. in that window, a car parked on a banned arterial is a towing problem, not a tire problem, and we cannot work on it there. And if you plan to leave a car with a flat overnight from December onwards, the place you leave it matters more than the tire does.

The city publishes a map of which streets are covered. We will not guess at a street list here, and neither should anyone else.

The baseline, outside the ban entirely

The City of Chicago's towed vehicle dataset covers a rolling 90 days. Between 23 June and 20 September 2026, a window with no winter ban anywhere near it, it recorded 7,393 vehicles towed to city pounds, around 82 a day. 4,582 went to 701 N Sacramento and 2,566 to 10300 S Doty, which are the same two pounds the city names as the destinations for winter ban tows.

That is the baseline those pounds already run at before any ban adds to it. Leaving a disabled car in a questionable spot here is its own risk, separate from the tire.

Who else is actually open

Of the Chicago mobile tire operators in our research file on 2026-09-20, one publishes prices on its own website: Quickie Tire, listing Monday to Saturday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and closed Sunday. Several others advertise being open 24 hours and publish no figure of any kind, only a phone number.

Two national names that show up in searches do not publish Chicago as a service area. DynaTire states it typically covers a fifteen mile radius from Naperville, which does not reach Chicago. GoMobile Tires, the franchise that anchors mobile tire service in several other metros, does not list Illinois in its own location directory.

That is why this site puts a number on screen first.

Before you book, check three things

1. Where the car will actually be during the window: home, an alley pad, a workplace lot, a permit space on the street. Tell us which.
2. Whether the space is legal, level, paved, and has room to work around one corner of the car. Flat tire in the driveway covers the home case.
3. Whether the tire is holding any air. A tire that has been driven on flat is usually a replacement rather than a repair, and that changes the price. Repair or replace a tire explains why.

We cannot repair a tire we have not taken off the wheel, because the US Tire Manufacturers Association standard requires the inner liner to be inspected, and we do not fit tires bought elsewhere. A mobile puncture repair on one tire is $145 with us. That is the price, not an estimate and not a starting figure. It covers the call-out, taking the wheel off, demounting and inspecting the tire from the inside, a plug and patch fitted the way the tire industry requires, remounting, rebalancing, a TPMS reset where the vehicle supports it, and refitting. If the damage turns out not to be repairable, we tell you on the spot and you are not charged for the repair.

• Can someone come out today? Sometimes. The booking flow shows the real next window for your address alongside the price, instead of promising same-day and renegotiating on the phone.
• Is this a 24 hour service? No. We book visits to a car parked at a fixed address. If the car is stranded, call a tow first and book us for wherever it ends up.
• My car is on a main street overnight in January. Check the winter overnight parking ban before anything else. It runs 3 a.m. to 7 a.m. from 1 December to 1 April on 107 miles of arterial streets, regardless of snow, and the city's published cost is a $150 minimum tow, a $60 ticket and $25 a day storage.
